Heather joined the NewsChannel 5 team as an Anchor/Reporter in October 2008. Coming from Colorado, she was thrilled that she didn't have to leave behind the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

Heather graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in May 2008 with journalism honors, after studying Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. Outside of school, she spent the last two years of her college career interning at the FOX and CW affiliates in Denver.

Heather appreciates music of all kinds, and even plays guitar herself. She finds snowboarding to be a big thrill, and likes to relax with a good book or movie.
