Kacey joined the ABC 5 team as the Capitol Bureau Reporter in April of 2010. She is excited to call the “Treasure State” home and is looking forward to getting to know her new Great Falls community.

Raised in Central Washington, surrounded by apple and cherry orchards, Kacey attended Washington State University and graduated with a BA in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast News and a minor in Theater. During her time at WSU, Kacey served as an active member of Cable 8 News as a reporter, anchor, producer and writer. Kacey was also a host and correspondent for the "The Mix," an entertainment-talk show. She was a member of the Association of Women in Communications, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.

After graduating in 2008, Kacey took an internship at KOMO 4 in Seattle and began her time there as the Assistant Audience Coordinator for “Northwest Afternoon,” the longest running day-time talk show in television history. From there, she was invited to join the news department as a creative services/news intern.

Growing up, Kacey was a competitive dancer training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, character and lyrical. As an instructor and student, she had the opportunity to compete on the national level in Las Vegas and was invited to perform in Disneyland and on a Carnival Cruise Ship.

When she’s not working, Kacey enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, taking in whatever concerts she can and always being a proud Coug!
