Ashlie Rodriguez joined the ABC 5 team as an reporter in August of 2011. Coming to gorgeous Great Falls was easy and she was more than excited to transition from her home in San Diego, California.

Before coming to Great Falls, Ashlie interned at the Los Angeles Times as an environmental reporter. She also worked as a reporter for the San Diego LGBT Weekly magazine, covering issues in the gay and lesbian community. Ashlie worked at a variety publications and stations throughout her college years at San Diego State University. While double majoring in political science and journalism, and minoring in history, Ashlie wrote for the San Diego Union-Tribune, Voice of San Diego, Vision Magazine and National Journal Magazine in Washington D.C. She also interned at FOX 5 KSWB in San Diego.

During her time away from the studio, Ashlie enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful lands of Montana. She loves meeting new people and talking politics. She is always open to your story suggestions.
