A.J. Donatoni

A.J. Donatoni joined ABC Montana as a sports reporter in
our Bozeman/Butte bureau in March 2010. He is the sideline
reporter for Max Media's Bobcat Gameday and the host of
Bobcat Sports Report during football and basketball
season.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in the suburban towns
Villanova and Malvern, A.J. graduated from Syracuse
University in December 2009 with a degree in broadcast
journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public
Communications. While at SU, he dedicated most of his time
to CitrusTV, the campus station, working as an anchor,
host, reporter, producer and doing some play-by-play.

A.J.'s passion for covering sports stems from his early
years, having grown up with the most rabid and loyal
fanbase in the world in Philadelphia. After a lifetime of
disappointment, his thirst for a parade down Broad Street
was quenched when the Phillies reached the summit in 2008.
He received failing grades for two quizzes to be in Philly
for the ensuing celebration.

A.J.'s favorite sport is golf, and he follows the PGA Tour
every week. Sadly, his handicap has not improved since
high school, though he hopes the added elevation in
Montana adds a few yards to his tee shots.
