Ben Conn joined the NewsChannel 5 as a Sports Reporter for KTMF in Missoula. Ben began his television career back in 2008. He worked at WHDH in Boston as a production assistant before picking up other responsibilities around the station. The highlight of his tenure at WHDH was when he was asked to cover the 2008 NBA and NHL playoffs for the Celtics and Bruins.

He is a 2008 graduate of Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. It is there he earned his bachelors degree in Communications. Ben was also a four-year member of the men's baseball team. While at Bryant, he along with a fellow teammate, started the first ever television show on campus. It was a weekly half-hour television show called Sports Axis.

The Holden MA native first got involved with media as an intern for America’s #1 rated sports radio station, WEEI in Boston. He also interned with music at WXLO, but it wasn't until he got in front of a camera that he fell in love with being on TV.

An avid Boston sports fan, one of the things Ben looks forward to the most is seeing the town of Missoula shut down on Saturdays for Grizzly football. He hopes the passion for the Grizz equals, if not exceeds the passions of great Boston sports fans.
