Wednesday 10:15 AM

Be alert, we have a risk of severe thunderstorms today across almost the entire KFBB viewing area. Some storms could produce large hail (perhaps very large), damaging wind and tornadoes.

High Wind Warning: from midnight tonight to midnight Thursday night for the northern Rocky Mountain Front and from 6 AM Thursday to midnight Thursday night for eastern Glacier and Toole counties.

Lake Wind Advisory: from noon today to 4 AM Thursday for Fort Peck Lake.

Fire Weather Watch: from Thursday afternoon thru Thursday evening for Blaine, Chouteau, Fergus, southern Garfield, Hill, southern Petroleum, northern Phillips and northern Valley counties as well as the Little Rockies and Lower Missouri River Breaks including the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge. A critical combination of gusty wind and low humidity could lead to rapid and dangerous fire growth.

There will be a risk of severe thunderstorms tomorrow for parts of eastern Montana including Glendive and Sidney. Powerful wind will blow thru the area Thursday with cooler temperatures for the next several days.

Please be safe and have a great day!
