    Community spotlight is a live feature during our 5 p.m. Newscast that highlights events and activities open to the general public in central Montana. The segment is filmed Monday-Friday and is a 1-hour commitment, for a live interview in the KFBB studios.

    In tonight's Community Spotlight, Ben Wombacher stopped by the KFBB studios to talk about the 35th annual Threshing Bee happening on September 15-16th. Both days the event runs from 7:00-5:00pm.  Tickets are $8/person or $25/family, and tickets are good for both days.     In tonight's Community Spotlight, Kim Skornogoski stopped by the KFBB studio to discuss United Way of Cascade County's upcoming 2018 Fundraising Campaign. Last year, UWCC raised $1,047,000. To celebrate the upcoming year, as well as campaign volunteers and businesses, UWCC will be kicking off the fundraising goals on Tuesday, Sept. 18th at 5:30pm at Giant Springs Elementary, located at 520 32nd St. N.     In tonight's Community Spotlight, Sandi Filipowicz with YWCA stopped by the KFBB studio to discuss the upcoming annual "Empty Bowls" event in Great Falls. This year's fundraiser will take place on Saturday, Sept. 22nd from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Heritage Hall at Great Falls College MSU. $25 gets you a handcrafted bowl, soup, bread, dessert, and live music.  For more information, visit YWCA's website.
