After researching the charity and tapping into her charitable spirit, Giles decided to make the cut! For two years, Giles grew out her hair to well past her shoulders when she decided to cut it it off and donate it to the national charity.

She was excited about her donation, and her mother could not have been more proud. Giles says she would like to grow her hair out again and donate it once more to Locks of Love. News Channel 5 and Max Media of Montana is proud to honor Marlo Giles as the March 2011 Unsung Hero.
