In 1990, abortion rights groups threatened to stop buying Idaho potatoes after Idaho’s legislature passed an extensive abortion ban. Yet here in the Golden Triangle, sales of Idaho potatoes went up, and it wasn't due to views on abortion, but rather support for fellow farmers.
