Next month, there will be a new magazine hitting the stands in the area.and the creators of Signature Montana to learn what it would be about. “It’s based on 11 county region…and uh just kinda tell those stories that aren’t being told” Haley Lenington-Leray told us. The magazine is her vision. Born in Fort Benton she left Montana, but her love for the state not only brought her back home, it inspired her to found a business that showcases what is great about our area. She thinks that she and her husband David make a good team create such a publication. “His backgrounds in marketing…and mine is journalism.” She and her husband have been publishing here in Great Falls for about seven years. Previously, they published corporate newsletters and brochures. But now they want to take a step-up and think they know what it takes to make their publication stand out.

“The difference…every level is professionally done.” But the professionals they employ are all locals. Even the printing service that they will use is located in Great Falls.

“We’re just advocates of doing everything locally.”

In order to stand out publishers of the magazine say that the first issue of the quarterly magazine will start at least 100 pages and grow from there.

In the inaugural issue, readers will find articles on everything from the future of agriculture, to a humorous discussion of the location of the center of the state, to up and coming artists and culinary trends. And one feature that fashion aficionados can be particularly excited about is the style section. It will feature the latest trends and where you can get them locally.
