Mall Shoppers Get Free Lesson

By KFBB News Team

It’s the beginning of spring break for many local students and Great Falls Emergency Service workers are hoping that as students flock to the mall, they'll notice a new drunk driving awareness display. With prom and graduation coming up for many fellow students, the Great Falls High Drama Club volunteered their time to set up a display. It features a prom dress, beer bottles and three tombstones in hopes that teens will remember that drinking and driving is a deadly combination. According to the highway traffic safety bureau, of the 276 fatalities on Montana’s roads last year, almost half were alcohol related. 13 of those were in Cascade County, five of which were alcohol related. A graphic video called "Red Asphalt" made by the Montana Department of Transportation, showing actual footage of alcohol related accidents, runs continuously in the display.

  • get a scooter or cycle
