A Black Eagle family became homeless Thursday (6/12) after a fire ripped through their home. The fire broke out around one in the afternoon on Cove Lane. Units from Gore Hill, Black Eagle and Malmstrom responded to the blaze. The family was able to get out safely and it took fire crews about 2.5 hours to contain the fire. They were able to save part of the home, but most of it was destroyed in the flames. Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the blaze.
