Wild West Fest and Pow-Wow

By KFBB News Team

If you're looking for a weekend of non-stop entertainment, head to Vaughn. It’s the first ever Wild West Fest and Pow-Wow. It will begin with a ceremony to honor veterans at 10am on Friday morning. On Saturday the U.S. Calvary will be there doing demonstrations of saber warfare. That’ll be after a parade. There will also be a chili cook-off and live entertainment. One of the main attractions will be the Wild West town that a seven-person crew has been building since Tuesday. There will be a general store, saloon, and even a jail. Admission is two dollars a day. Proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Club of Cascade County. The event will be held at the JS Arena. Gates open at 9 A.M. Friday through Sunday.
