22-Year-Old Dead After Rocky Boy Accident

By KFBB News Team

A 22-year old man is dead after the vehicle he was riding in on the Rocky Boy Indian Reservation fell off an embankment, plunging into an icy creek.

Montana Highway Patrol Dispatch tells us the 22- year old was traveling in a Chevy Trailblazer around 2:00AM Saturday morning on Parker Canyon Road before falling nearly twenty feet, falling front first and breaking through ice.

MHP says it appears alcohol was a factor and no one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.

The 16-year-old female driver and a 15-year-old female passenger were transported to Northern Montana Hospital in Havre with minor injuries.

The male passenger was pronounced dead on the scene - authorities have not released any of the names of the people involved.
