Water Tower Pool Makes Big Splash

By KFBB News Team

The grand opening of the Water Tower Pool was a big splash today with Great Falls residents. The water entertainment complex is located at 34th Street and 7th Avenue South. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony this afternoon kids got drenched in the brand new spray park. The pool was built in 1966 and there haven’t been many changes since. Since last season though, the pool also got a new liner, gutter system, two slides and new heater. The concrete deck has also been redone. It’s all thanks to a two million dollar bond passed in the November 2006 election. The complex is open through the middle of August from 1PM to 5:45PM every day. The spray park is free for everyone and the pool is free for kids 5 and under with a paid adult. It’s a $1.50 for kids 6-17 and $2.50 for the adults.

GF may double parking meter fees from 25 to 50 cents an hour. What do you think?

  • They need the money & I can afford it.
  • Another reason for me not to shop downtown.
  • A smaller increase will keep me shopping downtown.
  • Toss the meters, parking should be free.
