Local Brothers Beat the Odds to Follow Dream

With the help of the Great Falls Development Authority one local teen and his brother have become two of Great Falls youngest and most promising entrepreneurs. But they've had to have over come major obstacles just for the chance to see their dreams become reality. Eighteen-year-old Trevor was trying out for his middle school football team but after failing three basic physicals, he got some bad news. He had congenital kidney problems and had to have 20 surgeries to fix the problem. At the same time their dad left, leaving them bankrupt. The brothers had always been interested in video games and told their mom about their plan to create a video game company while in a waiting room at Benefis. The game is based on a love of Japanese culture- both brothers have visited the county. Josh went with a high school exchange program before Trevor got sick, and the Make A Wish Foundation sent Trevor to Tokyo for 8 days. Their life experience is reflected in the game, one of the characters is even named after one of Trevor’s doctors. So far there are 20 people working on their game including one in India and one in Israel, but most are local. The pair says they wouldn't be anywhere without the help of the Great Falls Development Authority. Now their company has signed a non-disclosure agreement with a big video game publisher. wow! trevor is a friend of mine and some of this i didnt even know. i wish the brothers the best of luck with their games now and in the future.
