MANG Pilots Excited About New Mission

Friday (8/1) was bittersweet for the Montana Air National Guard as the 120th Fighter wing's pilots took their last flights in the F-16. But the 120th Fighter Wing says Montana's airspace may be better suited for its new mission.

In mid-August the first four F-15 aircraft are set to arrive in Great Falls and although it's much larger than the F-16 which was being used against air and ground targets, the F-15 is strictly a fighter.

That is why they say Montana's large air space is perfect for their new mission.
