Man Sentenced After Police Chase

By KFBB News Team

It’s been almost two years since Dusty Muzzana lead the Great Falls P.D. on a high-speed chase. Today (Tuesday August 26th, 2008) he learned his sentence. The 28-year-old will avoid prison given he follow the conditions of a deferred sentence. He picked up his third DUI and a felony criminal endangerment charge after a chase through the Westside of Great Falls on a foggy night nearly two years ago. Judge Kenneth Neil called it a serious incident citing that one police officer was almost hit by Muzzana as he was fleeing. He must also pay $700 in restitution. His brother Lane also faces criminal endangerment chares and will be in court later this week after rolling his truck across Tenth Avenue South and into the Best Wok parking lot last April.

Really, what difference does it make weather it's his second or third. Clearly he has a drinking and driving problem if your even getting one, let alone two. And I don't think the fact that he is endangering lives and almost killed a cop is by any means blowing it out of proportion, if anything it wasn't a big enough story.

If you have not one but TWO DUIs and were involved in a high speed chase. I think you have earned your 15 seconds of shame! Yeah you should check your facts, but wether it was two or three, the guy was endangering allot of people with his actions.
