Mustangs "Make Change"

Tools

By KFBB News Team

In the spirit of the holidays, kids at Morningside Elementary in Great Falls are making change...with their pocket change.

The Morningside Mustangs are ready to present the president of the Great Falls Rescue Mission with a $450 check, which they were able to raise in only four days by donating coins.

The fundraiser not only makes a difference to those in need...but also teaches the kids about the real reason for the holiday season.

The fundraising idea started in the kindergarten classrooms last year, and has now moved school wide.

Students, staff and parents are excited to share "change" with the Great Falls community, and plan to turn the fundraiser into a yearly Morningside tradition.
