Firefighters Save Home South of Great Falls

By KFBB News Team

Firefighters were able to save a home south of Great Falls after a fire broke out Sunday morning (2/15).

Shortly before 10 a.m., firefighters from several area departments responded to the blaze at 214 Fields Road. Firefighters say they believe the fire stared in the chimney and spread to the ceiling, which briefly made putting it out difficult. They eventually got things under control and say the house suffered only moderate damage. The homeowner also said the property was insured.

Firefighters from Sand Coulee, Stockett, Black Eagle, Gore Hill, and Malmstrom Air Force Base responded to the fire.
