Fire Destroys Sun River Home

By KFBB News Team

A fast-moving fire destroyed a home in Sun River Sunday (3/22) despite a large effort by several local fire departments.

At around 5:30 p.m. area crews were called to the blaze 210 Carol Lane. Homeowner Frederk Snyder said he and his two children escaped without injury and they were able to save most of their possessions. The family had also been in the process of moving to a new home. Snyder said he believed the fire started in the kitchen.

Area crews from Sun River, Simms, Fort Shaw, Vaughn, Fairfield, Gore Hill, and Ulm responded to the fire.
