Native Montana Magazine

By KFBB News Team

A magazine targeted toward Montanans unveiled a special edition Wednesday featuring important Native Americans in our state.
Native Americans are being celebrated in Native Montana Magazine to showcase their positive contributions to society.
The magazine has been in circulation for a year and a half and this special edition features elected officials including the highest elected Native-American official... Superintendent of Public Instruction Denise Juneau.
Native Montana Magazine is fully supported by advertising and can be picked up for free across the state.
Native Montana Magazine publisher James Parker Shield said, "We need to make sure that people understand that we're full participants in the state of Montana and its government and that we have people that are achieving significant milestones not as individuals buts on the behalf of native americans."
