Those looking for an affordable summer vacation are in luck, as the National Park Service announced a deal to help boost tourism.

Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar says that for three weekends this summer, admission to the country's national parks will be free. That applies to all 391 parks located in 49 states across the country, including Glacier and Yellowstone here in Montana.

The goal behind this offer is to provide opportunities for affordable vacations during tough economic times, to boost both morale and tourism. Last year, parks nation-wide attracted more than 275-million visits, 10.6 billion dollars for local economies, and supported more than 213-thousand jobs.
