Authorities are releasing more information in the case of the 49-year old York man who was found dead in his home at the beginning of last month.

Results from the crime lab confirm that 49-year old victim, David Tunes, died of a gunshot wound. Although the type and caliber of the weapon have been identified, the Lewis & Clark County Sheriff's Office has declined the release of that information.

Authorities have revealed that Tunes was a medical marijuana card-holder and care provider. Numerous marijuana plants were discovered in his home, which, according to investigators, raises suspicions and could lead to a possible motive.

Sheriff Leo Dutton says all possible leads are currently being pursued, and this is still an active investigation.
