The Miss Montana Scholarship Program just held a week’s worth of events that culminated Saturday night with the crowning of the new Miss Montana 2009.

Brittany Wiser of Bozeman won the title in a competition that celebrates the Big Sky State’s most dynamic young women. Wiser dazzled the audience with her rendition of a classic Frank Sinatra song, and later answered a final question that asked her how she would market the Miss Montana Scholarship program.

In addition to the cash, scholarships, and long list of gifts she will receive, Wiser also won the awards for the most outstanding Academic, Children’s Miracle Maker, and Miss Congeniality.

The Miss Montana Scholarship Program has been around for 60 years, with the goal of helping young women achieve their dreams. This year, the competition was held in Glendive for the 5th year in a row.

Kylee Hoiland, Ashten Purviance, and Olivia Dowler- Semi-Finalists
