Swimmer Found Dead Near Cascade Identified As North Dakota Man

Authorities have identified the apparent drowning victim whose body was recovered Friday (7/3) on the Missouri River near Cascade as 24-year-old John Hart of North Dakota.

The man had been swimming near the popular Mountain Palace fishing access point approximately 10 miles south of Cascade at about 8 p.m. Thursday (7/2). Authorities say he like succumbed to the powerful river current and frigid waters.
