Cat Shot in Leg Gets Second Chance at Life

By KFBB News Team

If you would like to add a furry friend to your family, who not adopt a cat? Targee is News Channel Five's Pet of the Week.

Targee was found in Sun Prairie by a family who saw he had a medical problem and needed immediate attention. A vet examined Targee and determined he had been shot in the leg. Targee is now recovering and he's also looking for a new family to call his own.

Leslie Raynes of the Pet Paw-see says "Our vet decided she could either save the leg or amputate and she chose to save the leg. He's done absolutely wonderful. He had the surgery, had the pin removed and is now looking for his forever home. And really Targee should hate people, but he doesn't, he loves everyone."

If you would like to adopt Targee or another animal, contact the Pet Paw-see at 406-761-0030.
