New Information: Couple Arrested in Hill County for Burying and Moving Remains of 11 Year Old

By KFBB News Team

We're following a bizarre story that's unfolding in Havre, and this one has implications across several states.

35-year-old Abel Wolf and 40-year-old Denise Wolf are being held without bail in Havre. Hill County Attorney Gina Dahl tells NewsChannel 5 they're being held on an Oklahoma charge of unlawfully moving the body of their 11-year-old daughter Cheyenne Noell Wolf.

This all began more than a year ago, in April 2008. Bryan County, Oklahoma court documents indicate that's when the couple found the girl dead in their home. Abel Wolf told authorities he decided not to report the girl's death to authorities and it wasn't until a sibling started kicking and stomping on the body the parents decided to dispose of it.

Court records indicate the couple then put the body into a sleeping bag and a large plastic tub and buried it under their deck. Then in August, the couple moved to Hill County and brought the remains with them, hiding them in the garage.

Then in January of this year, the couple moved those remains to a house in Milton-Freewater, Oregon, where it was placed in an old chicken house. They then moved it to a storage facility in the same area.

Agents began investigating the couple after Denise Wolf's niece called Oklahoma authorities on June 16. The Hill County Sheriff's Office arrested the couple in Havre on July 3.

Dahl tells NewsChannel 5 the couple will likely have an initial appearance Wednesday morning in Havre, and then extradition proceedings will likely begin.

Neither suspect is accused in the girl's death.

Hill County Sheriff Don Brostrom says the couple was arrested at their residence south of Havre.

At very least someone should step in with CPS.Apparently the courts KNOW they didn't have anything to do with the death, but yeah, some repercussions NEED to be felt there...Wow, just, Wow.

i really think they should be charged with murder because they kept the body so long there is little evidence left ans uh they are definitely having some issues really if you have a kid sho would stomp on a dead sibling not sure what kind of house you live in!
