Newly Opened Great Falls Restaurant Makes National News

A new Great Falls restaurant is taking top honors for its top dog.

The Downtown Doghouse is less than two weeks old, but its Fly'n Hawaiian hot dog was just recognized as a top ten gourmet hot dog on SanFranciscoWeekly.com. The Fly'n Hawaiian was listed alongside gourmet hot dogs found in larger cities like New York, Chicago, and London.

Owner Dave Snuggs says he was shocked to discover his signature hot dog on the list.

The Fly'n Hawaiian is a beef hot dog covered in pineapple, bacon, mozzarella cheese, and honey mustard.

Snuggs named the hot dog after one of his hockey moves.

Downtown Doghouse features 13 hot dogs from 13 different cities and a neon green relish found in only two restaurants in Montana.
