Great Falls Police Department Hosts Open House

By KFBB News Team

On Wednesday, the Great Falls Police Department hosted an open house for the general public.

Citizens had the opportunity to get an up close look at what the police department does in their community. The event coincided with the 80th anniversary of the building that houses the police department, which was originally built as a Chevrolet manufacturing plant in 1929.

Those who attended the open house had a chance to tour the building, including the 911 Center, video firearms simulator, firing range, and police cars, while receiving the hands-on experience of being a police officer. Volunteers and officers were on hand to answer any questions.
