Former Great Falls Mayor Gayle Morris was arrested today, following an undercover prostitution sting in Cascade County. Morris is the owner of the exodic dancing club, Really Windy's. Two dancers have also been charged with prostitution.

It was back in late May, police searched the club. Court documents indicate there was probable cause to believe that prostitution was being conducted on site. Morris has been arrested on suspicion of promoting prostitution. He is also a former Cascade County Commissioner.

Now, two women who danced at the club have been charged with misdemeanor prostitution. The performers are Shawna Turton, who used the name "Starlight" and Jessica Burrington, also known as "Mary Jane". Some citizens of the nearby community of Sun Prairie are outraged.

"You wouldn't think something like that would happen around here," said Nancy Brown. "Things like that happen in big cities."

"Prostitution and drugs go hand in hand," said Julie Hamm.

"I am not surprised," said Mike Doney. "They have to do what they have to do to make money."

"Gayle Morris was a prominent man," said John Miller. "But now he seems to have gone down a path that he shouldn't."

Court documents reveal a two-year law enforcement investigation on the club that included undercover officers and informants, During the operation, officers say the dancer "Starlight" offered to engage in sexual acts for money.

Newschannel 5 spoke with Morris shortly before his arrest. The former Great Falls Mayor and Cascade County Commissioner claims there has never been any prostition at Really Windy's and that he would never do anything to jeopardize his liquor license.
