Lawsuit Filed Against Helena Wells Fargo

By KFBB News Team

A Wells Fargo bank in Helena is under fire after six women filed a federal lawsuit claiming they were wrongly fired and discriminated against because of their gender.

The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday by Georgia Arnold, Jennifer Finstad, Michelle Jones, Meridith Williams, Lori Elliot, and Kelsey George. In the lawsuit, Arnold contends that she, along with the five other women, were wrongly fired from the Wells Fargo Helena East branch after she called the company’s ethics tip line anonymously to report that her supervisor was failing to follow banking standards in regards to debit cards. A Wells Fargo bank official declined to comment on the lawsuit due to ongoing litigation.
