Unique Donation To MSU-Great Falls

Something you don't see every day made its way through the streets of Great Falls.
Two wind turbine blades have been escorted to MSU-Great Falls on a specialized truck.
Each blade is about 120 feet long, and weighs six and a half tons.
The blades are being donated to the College of Technology by Invenergy out of Judith Gap, following the school's approval by the Montana Board of Regents to begin a wind energy technician program.
This is all part of the Wind Montana Project, which began with a nearly 2-million dollar grant awarded to MSU-Great Falls in 2008.
