Great Falls Primary Results Are In

After a competitive campaigning season in the race to be the next Great Falls mayor, we can now report Bronson and Winters will move on to the general election. Jones, Rosenbaum, Burow, and Zook will advance as city commission candidates in the November general election.

Mayoral Candidates (those with dash marks will be moving on to the general election)

-Bill Bronson: 4,675
-Mike Winters: 4,324
Sandra Guynn: 2,357
John Hubbard: 767
Mike Witsoe: 528


City Commission Candidates (those with dash marks will be moving on to the general election)
-Robert Jones: 5,722
-John Rosenbaum: 5,300
-Fred Burow: 3,111
-Donna Zook 3,075
Kathleen Z. Gessaman: 2,984
Ed McKnight: 2,372
Rolland Leitheiser: 1,276

13,084 Total Ballots Cast

Election say they expected to get about 3,000 ballots just today. That's about the same number as all the votes cast in the last primary which was held back in 2005.

Of the 28,000 registered voters in Great Falls, a little less than half returned ballots.
