CMR Senior to Sign with Stanford

It was last November when Joslyn Tinkle announced her plans to accept a basketball scholarship from Stanford University. And Friday another Montana high school product decided to do the same.

Joslyn Tinkle, from Missoula; her father, the Montana Grizzly basketball coach. Her mother,1 of the greatest to ever play at CMR and then with the Lady Griz.

And now another CMRproduct will join Joslyn at one of the top academic and athletic institutions in the country.

On Friday afternoon, Josh Huestis made it known he's accepting a full-ride to play in palo alto. The 6-7 senior led the Rustlers to the state AA championship last March.

And how's this for a short list. He picked the Cardinals over USC, Oregon State, Georgetown, Montana, Montana State, and Harvard.

Huey will officially sign a national letter of intent with Stanford on signing day in two weeks. He's the first Rustler since Jeff Palmer in 1982 to be continuing his career at the division 1 level.

Huestis aid wanted to make his choice before his senior season began.

He's focused on hanging another championship rug in the Rustler fieldhouse.
