Downtown Halloween Event Brings Out Families in Great Falls

By KFBB News Team

On Friday, Great Falls youngsters are grabbing a few early halloween treats in the downtown area "safe zone."

From 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., costumed kids were grabbing safe treats from several downtown stores and businesses. This year's event is estimated to have seen around 3,000 children.

The safe event also allowed for worry-free parents to join in the fun, but for the kids, the candy wasn't the only great part of the day.

There was also a costume contest taking place atTimes Square, hosted by "Moms Like Me".
