If you wait until the last minute to find a costume for Halloween, you are definitely not alone. On Halloween afternoon dozens of people piled into the Great Falls Theatrical Costume Shop to find the perfect costume.

Emily Quinn, an employee of the shop, explains, “There are a lot of people that are without costumes, and to go to Wal-mart and all that, it’s kind of expensive, but then you get here and we’ve got almost everything already together, and it’s easier to find costumes here.”

Great Falls residents have depended on the shop for three decades, and those in desperate need of a costume are thankful it stays open for the holiday.

Anthony Barber, Great Falls resident, says, “I’ve been pretty busy the last couple of weeks, so last minute I had to grab something. I just found out yesterday this place is open from 12-4 today, so I’m pretty excited about that.”

David Robo, another Great Falls resident, explains, “My daughter has been teasing me for about the last month that I’m a princess, so I asked her if she wanted me to dress up for Halloween, so I’m going to do it for her.”

After the sun goes down, the shop is transformed into a creepy haunted house.

Quinn adds, “Starting at about 5:00, we are having the haunted house. It’s downstairs, and we’ve actually had a lot of people come through lately, and it is scary, especially for the workers that are down there. We’ve actually had two people witness some kind of paranormal activity. If you’re willing to be frightened tonight, this is the best place to come.”
