Teen Shoots Rifle into Ex-Girlfriend's Home

By KFBB News Team

A family in Great Falls woke up this morning to find their foyer window smashed out by a rifle bullet.

19 year old suspect Samuel Douglas was upset with the recent break-up with his ex-girlfriend, who lived near Central Avenue and 16th Street.

Douglas allegedly visited the residence around 2:30 in the morning, and damaged a vehicle, before heading back to his home and grabbing a rifle.

Douglas then hid behind a tree on Central Avenue, across from his ex-girlfriend's home, and shot the rifle into the foyer.

None of the four people home were injured, but the bullet traveled through the glass, then through a chair, then through another wall, and into a neighboring home.

Douglas was arrested earlier today, and is being charged with felony criminal endangerment.
