MANG and Malmstrom Reflect with Moment of Silence

By KFBB News Team

The Montana Air National Guard and Malmstrom Air Force base honored the victims of Fort Hood today with a moment of silence.

At 12:34 this afternoon, attendees at the monthly military affairs committee luncheon paused to remember those killed and wounded.

It was part of an announcement made to all military bases, requesting everyone to reflect for one minute on the Fort Hood tragedy.

Governor Schweitzer has order that flags flown over state property will be lowered to half-staff until veteran's day, and residents across Montana are invited to join the observance.
