A new exhibit opened Friday night designed specifically for women, especially those with disabilities.
"Every Woman Matters" opened Friday at The History Museum in Great Falls, and the goal for this exhibit is to raise awareness of women's health and especially the difficulties of breast cancer screenings for women with disabilities.
The women featured in this exhibit come from all corners of Montana to share their message of hope..that every single woman matters.
According to spokeswoman and disability advocate Nickie Fee, "It means that ladies with disabilities matter just as much as ladies who don't have disabilities. Each person is equal...that's what it means."
This women's health exhibit will be featured at The History Museum through the beginning of January, and will then travel to other Montana museums.
