The Montana Democratic Party has a new executive director. Twenty-nine year old David Benson, who is a veteran of political campaigns in South Dakota and Minnesota, took over the job in mid-October and says he is looking forward to the future.

Benson explains, "Well certainly our priority is continuing the success that has been found by Montana Democrats, and working on good policy, by good policymakers, such as healthcare and creating new jobs, and education. Whether that's in Helena or in Washington, that's really our goal and focus."

Benson replaces former executive director, Art Noonan, who resigned last summer.
