Three Weeks of Evening Jet Noise Expected in Great Falls

Tools

By KFBB News Team

Starting tonight, Great Falls residents might notice some unusual evening noise. F-15 pilots from the Montana Air National Guard have begun night missions.

This is required necessary training and crucial for maintaining proficiency levels with certain tasks. These night operations will take place generally between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

MANG officials say that the flights will remain within the standard flight patterns for the wing. The noise is not expected to sound much different than the regular daytime flying missions.

MANG is asking residents for their understanding during these important training flights.

These evening operations will continue each night until December 4th.
