H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinic Draws Hundreds in Helena

By KFBB News Team

Hundreds of people packed the fairgrounds in Helena on Tuesday for an H1N1 Vaccine Clinic. The clinic was open to pregnant women, those who care for babies, people with chronic medical conditions, health care providers and healthy people ages 6 months to 24 years.

Previous clinics had been limited to only children that had medical conditions. Around 800 doses were on hand and a steady stream of people continued to receive the vaccine throughout the day.

If you missed the clinic, the next one will be held Tuesday, November 24 at the Helena fairgrounds from noon to 5:00 P.M. You can also call the flu hotline at 457-8904 and set up appointments.
