Tree Farmers Grow Christmas Cheer Year-Round

The Knox Tree Farm will sell you landscape trees all year long, but around Christmas time, this little tree lot near Lewistown changes it's name to Santa's Tree farm.

Farmer Don Knox and his dog Blitzkreig have been growing and selling Christmas trees for nearly a dozen years.

It's a small tree farm by most people's standards, about 2,000 trees on 2 acres. But it's the only Montana tree farm in within 150 miles, and growing Christmas trees is no quick business.

With more people looking to cut costs, some find that spending money every year on a new Christmas tree isn't worth the money and time, and many families have decided to invest in artificial trees.

But Knox won't give up on his little farm, it's worth it to watch families drop in and find the perfect Christmas tree.
