Fire Damages Black Eagle Home

Around 50 firefighters were called to a three-alarm fire in Black Eagle last night.

The Black Eagle Fire Department responded to a call around 9:45 p.m. and arrived to find a garage on Chicago Avenue in flames.

Gore Hill, Ulm, Vaughn, Sand Coulee, and the Montana Air National Guard fire departments also responded to the scene.

Because of last nights winds, firefighters were concerned that the flames would spread across the entire block.

But the fire was brought under control, and the home near the garage only suffered damage in a back bedroom.

An empty, mobile home near the garage was destroyed in the flames.
