Fire Consumes Three Forks Hotel

A fire in Three Forks has destroyed the Old Park Hotel.
The fire started shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
According to Three Forks Fire Chief Bruce Felz, no one was inside the hotel at that time.
Fire fighters have been pouring water on the building for several hours, but are unable to reach the actual fire, deep inside the structure.
Worst case scenario: the chief says the fire department could be busy with this fire for 3 to 4days.
Three Forks is working with other fire departments from Bozeman, Belgrade, and Manhattan to fight this fire.
The cause is still unknown, but crews have been able to keep the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.
