Wolf Creek Pot Bust Serves as Warning to Other Growers

By KFBB News Team

A Missoula man faces felony drug charges after authorities discovered 85 marijuana plants and four pounds of pot on a property in Wolf Creek.

Investigators learned the man's brother, who lives in California, has a permit allowing him to have six marijuana plants for medical reasons.

Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton says this situation serves as a warning to others who may be taking advantage of these permits and breaking the law.

Sheriff Dutton explains, "I hope it serves as a warning. If you are growing within the law, there are people trying to do that, there are people who are doing that, and they're going out of their way to be legal. People that aren't are giving them a bad name."

By law, the permit allows six marijuana plants and up to one ounce of pot.

This what I don't understand. The police will bust a grower, but will not bust a person brewing beer in his garage, but they will bust a man with a few plants...What kills more???

Within the law. Yet the person is medical and a medical person is a criminal. I get it I get it. Protect prohibition at all costs! I have news.. It's JUST a plant people. Think about that one if you can.
