7th Annual Margarita Meltdown: Beach Party in Winter

It is still the middle of winter but the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls has been transformed into a tropical beach party.

The 7th Annual Margarita Meltdown kicks off Friday at 5:30 PM and all the proceeds benefit Eagle Mount Great Falls and the 16 adaptive programs the organization supports.

Eagle Mount is a nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic and recreational activities to children and adults with physical, developmental, behavioral and mental challenges.

For the past three days, 50 volunteers have been bringing in sand and all things tropical anticipating 1,200 – 1,600 people for Friday’s event.

“For me it’s a huge sense of pride it’s a wonderful fundraiser and it makes the money that Eagle Mount needs to run its programs so everything that you see in here is a labor of love from all of the volunteers and the staff that put it together. People who just experienced the rodeo here will be amazed when they walk through the door,” says Deb Sivumaki, Eagle Mount Executive Director.

Margarita Meltdown features Jimmy Buffet style music performed by San Diego based band “Stars on the Water” again the event kicks off Friday evening at 5:30 PM and ends at midnight.
