Treasured Montana Artist

Since introducing the Treasured Montana Artist exhibit in Helena a year ago, Secretary of State Linda Mucculloch has named three artists to receive the honorable distinction and today, a fourth was named.

Craig Hergert of Bozeman, is known for his panoramic photographs of the beautiful landscapes across Montana. He has been working to capture these images for the past 12 years and hopes that they will play a part in historical documentation of the state as well as be a vision of beauty. His artwork will be on display through April of this year in the front lobby of Secretary Mccullochs office. She is encouraging everyone to come in to take a loot at this extra-ordinary work.

You can also view Hergert's artwork next time you are in Bozeman at the Montana Panoramic Gallery - located in the Emerson Cultural Center for the arts.
