By KFBB News Team

Late Saturday afternoon local firefighters were called to the scene of a garage fire on 29th Avenue NW. Ten Great Falls firefighters responded to the home after its occupant noticed smoke coming from the garage.

An initial investigation reveals this was an electrical fire caused by a snowmobile being left on top of an extension cord. It took firefighters just a few minutes to fully extinguish the blaze. The garage sustained severe smoke damage but thankfully no one was hurt.
